Don’t Miss! The Singapore Night Festival 2015

The Night Festival or Singapore’s atas Pasar Malam is back. Museums. Art. food. This year’s edition of the Night fest will be held over 21, 22, 28 and 29 August and it promises to be better and larger than before! Here are some things we’ll be watching out for!

Alchemy

What: Alchemy seems poised to be the potential crowd favourite again this year. Based on previous year’s performances, Alchemy always manages to mesmerize its audience with a combination of multi-disciplinary arts, scorching fire and dance.

Where: The front lawn of the Singapore Art Museum

When: 22-22 August

Garden of Angels

garden of angelsWhat: Inspired by the paintings of Marc Chagall, watch Theater Tol’s latest take on magic realism. Watch the parade of performers as a carousel of angel descends . Seems like this is going to be this year’s most instagrammed Night Festival spot.

Kumar’s Cabaret – Queen of Glamour

kumarWhat: Does Kumar even need an introduction. Go watch and you’ll be thankful.

Pixel Waves

pixel-wave-pageWhat: An interactive art installation at the National Design Centre. The atrium of the NDC will be turned into an immersive and interactive optical show that would surely be a hit with the young at heart.

What: Catch local bands like The Zozi, Hanging Up The Moon, Typewriter, Ellipsis, .gif, The Cheating Sons and more
